When redesigning the kitchen of this stunning open-plan home, the clients wanted to create a space that could serve as the heart of family life—bright and functional during the day, yet warm and inviting in the evening. Lighting would play a critical role in achieving this balance.

Tasked with delivering a solution that was both high-performing and discreet, Red Arrow specified its Stellar 4CCT LED downlights for the project. The ultra-slim profile suited the sleek ceiling design, while the selectable colour temperature feature allowed for tailored ambience throughout the day.
With a high lumen output and excellent efficacy, Stellar 4CCT provided both functional brightness and energy efficiency. Safety was also a key consideration, and each unit’s fire-rated compliance (EN1365-2:2014 / BS476-21:1987) offered peace of mind.
Aesthetically, the downlights were designed to be as adaptable as they were effective. While the range of interchangeable bezels—from Black to Antique Brass—offered flexibility, the designers opted for the classic White RAL9003 bezels to complement the kitchen’s minimalist tones.
The result is a light-filled, sociable kitchen space that creates an atmosphere that’s both practical and welcoming. The clients and design team were delighted with the outcome, praising the seamless integration of the lighting into the overall scheme.
